NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO ADOPT THE FOLLOWING BYLAW: No. 38-2022
On Tuesday, August 9, 2022 Westlock County Council passed First Reading of Bylaw No. 38-2022 being a Bylaw to amend Westlock County’s Land Use Bylaw No. 04-2016 to:
1. Establish a new Land Use District, called the ‘Recreational Commercial (RC) District’, the general purpose of which is to provide for specific areas where commercial tourism, rental accommodation,
and recreation uses may take place within the County;
2. Add new and revised definitions to the Land Use Bylaw for terms used in the proposed Recreational Commercial (RC) District; and
3. Add new Land Use District maps that propose to redistrict the following properties from the Agricultural (AG) District to the proposed Recreational Commercial (RC) District:

Westlock County Council will hold a Public Hearing to provide the public an opportunity to comment on the proposed Bylaw prior to adoption.

The Bylaw may be viewed at the Westlock County Administration Office during regular office hours. To make a submission, you may do so to the Westlock County Administration Office prior to 4:30pm on Friday, August 26, 2022.
