The Westlock Regional Waste Management Commission operates the Westlock Regional Landfill.

Residents of Westlock County may access the Westlock Regional Landfill either:

Using a Residential Waste Disposal Permit which also grants access to Westlock County Transfer Sites.
Without a Residential Waste Disposal Permit, which requires visitors to pay per visit as per the WRWMC’s schedule of fees.

Owners of a residence within Westlock County can apply for a permit using the following application form. Applications can be sent to info@westlockcounty.com or submitted in person at the Westlock County administration building during business hours.

There is no fee to apply. Permit holders are entitled to the disposal of 4,000 kgs of waste per year. Weight above the allotted tonnage will be invoiced to the owner as per Westlock County policies.
