2026 Candidate's Disclosure Statements
Candidates, or their official agent(s), are encouraged to review Part 5.1 of the Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA), which outlines all campaign finance rules, and seek their own legal advice when needed.

NOTE: Westlock County’s Election Office does not review candidates’ campaign disclosure statements for accuracy, thoroughness, or legality. Candidates are responsible for the contents of their campaign disclosure statements.
2024 Campaign Disclosure Statement:
Candidates who have accepted contributions or incurred expenses in 2024 must file the required campaign disclosure forms by March 1, 2025.
The Returning Officer did not receive any campaign disclosure forms for contributions received or expenses incurred between in 2024.
2025 Campaign Disclosure Statement:
Candidates who have accepted contributions between January 1, 2025 and July 31, 2025 (including self-contributions) must file the required campaign disclosure forms by September 30, 2025.
The Returning Officer did not receive any campaign disclosure forms for contributions received or expenses incurred between January 1 and July 31, 2025.
Candidates who accepted contributions or incurred expenses in 2025 must file the required campaign disclosure forms by March 1, 2026. Candidates must file a Disclosure Statement even if they did not accept any contributions or incur any expenses.

Filed Campaign Disclosure Statements are published online. In accordance with the legislation, residential addresses of candidates, official agents, and contributors are redacted.
