Shaping the Future of Our Hamlets, Together
Every hamlet has its own story, character, and sense of community. Westlock County is working alongside residents, landowners, and community stakeholders to listen, learn, and understand what matters most in our hamlets, both today and into the future.
This project brings together six hamlets across two phases, with an approach that reflects the unique needs of each community.
Phase One focuses on Busby, Pickardville, and Vimy, exploring opportunities for future growth and development while creating a vision and practical plan for each community.
Phase Two focuses on Jarvie, Pibroch, and Dapp, with an emphasis on maintaining the communities we have today, supporting sustainable and vibrant hamlets, and identifying the infrastructure and community priorities that will help them thrive.
Through community conversations, feedback, and local knowledge, we are building a better understanding of what each hamlet needs and what opportunities exist for the future.
Your community. Your ideas. Your future.
Together, we can help shape practical priorities that reflect the people, places, and possibilities that make each of Westlock County’s hamlets unique.
